Transportation is one of the major challenges globally. Not only distances, but infrastructure are elements that facilitate exchanges between societies. Getting up, arriving at a destination and being efficient is not just a matter of luck. The design of more sustainable transport systems has become a priority for societies, especially when global goals for greenhouse gas emissions have been reconsidered by the international community. Efficient vehicles require a series of elements such as energy policies related to alternative fuels, but also with a change in the aspirational models of the community. Having efficient transport systems requires reducing traffic times, having integrated systems and low environmental impact. The use of bicycles, electric vehicles or with alternative fuels, carpooling or vehicle rental systems, have been some of the responses that have been generated in different countries to improve the quality of life of citizens.
